Brandon Bell was elected to the Town of Erie Board of Trustees in 2020 and appointed to the Town Council in December 2023 following the adoption of the Home Rule Charter. He has served as a liaison to both the Historic Preservation Board (2021) and the Airport Economic Development Advisory Board, contributing significantly to the town’s heritage preservation and economic development.
Brandon and his wife, Theresa, relocated to Erie in 2017, drawn by the picturesque views of Long’s Peak and the Flatirons from their home in Erie Highlands. Both are long-time residents of Colorado; Brandon grew up in Boulder and attended Fairview High School, while Theresa grew up in Northglenn. They met at Colorado State University and have been married for 28 years.
They have four children: Myranda (25), an elementary school teacher in Adams 12; Dawson (22), a PhD student in Biochemistry at Boise State University; Bethany (19), a second-year student at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts; and Miles (17), a senior at Peak to Peak Charter School. Theresa is a special education teacher in the Adams 12 school district.
Brandon has a 25-year career in the technology sector, including a decade at IBM. He is currently employed by Broadcom Ltd, working for the Brocade Storage Networks Business Unit as a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer. He is a graduate of Colorado State University and Western Governors University. He has served on various non-profit advisory boards and is an active community volunteer. An avid golfer and musician, Brandon enjoys coaching, playing drums in his church worship band, and performing with his band around the Denver area. His favorite activity is spending time with his family and their two dogs.
